I joined the practice back in 2006 as a trainee nurse. I worked and studied at the same time and trained to be a fully fledged dental nurse with Catherine and Allisons guidence and teaching, as well as college. It was definitely hard work, but worth it in the end, and Catherine helped me so much and made it fun and, dare I say it, entertaining!

My favourite thing about working at Belhaven is that everyone comes from all walks of life, and we all have different senses of humour that seem to click so well! If you ever hear a blast of laughter from one of the rooms you know, we're up to something, normally playing tricks on each other! Sometimes, if you listen carefully, you'll hear a rendition of Westlife or Robbie from the hygienist room room – usually me and Eleanor! Not only do we treat patients but we entertain them too! I'm mum to a wee boy Ben, so I only work part time but don't you worry, I'm back to mischief when I am in, as well as making our patients feel at home!
