Dentist
I am the significant other in the trio of dentists in the Belhaven dental surgery.
This has to be said by all staff on a regular basis.
If not they don’t get paid as I am the BOSS.
I previously worked in dental practices in the Renfrewshire area and had never been to Port Glasgow until I came to view the practice. I opened the practice in September 2005 and thought that I would work on my own for at least a year. Then maybe find another dentist to join me if there were enough patients in the area to keep us busy.
As it turned out I was snowed under with people wanting to register with an NHS practice. So now I have Morven and Claire as my associate dentists. All is going well within the practice and we always welcome new patients and strive to provide the sort of service that we would like to receive.
Our aim as a practice is to make everyone feel welcome and make dental treatment a pleasant experience. I love the chat with patients old and new. It does hold up my work a bit sometimes but a wee chat is always worthwhile.
Our patients make our day brighter and hopefully we do the same for them. I am all for continuous learning and that is why I encourage all the girls to attend courses and also do so myself.
Our knowledge can only improve the service we provide to you. Our patients are all wonderful and my staff are all absolute STARS especially when they make me tea.
Personal
Party animal. Best thing being surrounded by lovely people. Love spending weekends with my fantastic husband and great friends. Holidays here or abroad with the above mentioned husband and friends.
I have a mad collie called Lexi who enjoys long walks.
