Dentist
It seems like just yesterday that I was setting up Belhaven Dental Surgery as a one woman show in 2005! I am extremely proud of where we are now, what we have achieved and how we have grown since then.
Very quickly we had huge numbers of people wanting to register with an NHS practice, so to meet the demand, over time our numbers grew to the 14 strong staff we are now. I have my lovely dental associates, Ryan, Jenny and Correen, my wonderful hygienists Eleanor and Pamela, our friendly and helpful receptionist Ann, and of course, my star nurses, who we could never do our job properly without, Allison, Jenna, Debbie, Margaret-Mary, Margaret, Jill and Karen.
We continually aim to grow as a team, to provide a happy, friendly, relaxed atmosphere for our patients and to provide the best possible care and treatment. Our aim as a practice is to make everyone feel welcome and make dental treatment a pleasant experience.
Outwith work, I also enjoy spending time with family; my lovely husband Colin, our son Finlay and my very excitable dog Lexie! I am adjusting to my part time status quite well, being a mum is great fun and more rewarding than I ever could imagine, but it’s also great to come and have proper grown up chat at work with the gang and with my patients! Especially when it’s over a cup of tea!
